Substitute Positions at Haskell CISD

The daily rate for a substitute with a bachelor's degree is $80 per day.  The daily rate for a substitute without a degree is $70 per day.  When a teacher substitute has worked in the same position for 10 consecutive days, the pay is $110 per day.  The rate for all cafeteria and maintenance substitutes is $8.75 per hour. 

All substitute applicants must be fingerprinted prior to being employed, according to Texas state law.  In order to have this process started, please complete the substitute application below and submit it online or mail it to Haskell CISD, PO Box 937, Haskell, Texas 79521.

High School Campus:

AG Sciences/Ag Mechanics                                                                                                         

Haskell HS is taking applications for a TX certified Ag Sciences/Ag Mechanics teacher to begin the 2025-2026 school year.  HHS has a long-standing, competitive ag program, and our new teacher will be hired to continue this tradition of excellence in our ag classroom, our FFA program, and in the ag shop.  Our new ag teacher will be one of two ag teachers on our campus and will work alongside one of the best in the business.  Applicants should be motivated, organized, and will be expected to use instructional methods appropriate for various levels and types of learning.  HHS employs a high-energy, highly-motivated team of teachers who work together to help our students become successful both in and out of the classroom.  

Haskell CISD pays an ag teacher stipend of $7500, and the ag teacher contract is a 12 month contract.

Haskell CISD pays $500 above base for 5+ years of teaching experience.

Haskell CISD pay scale extends to 30 years experience.

Haskell CISD has a modified 4-day school calendar.

Spanish Teacher

Haskell HS is taking applications for a TX certified Spanish teacher.  Applicants should be motivated, organized, and will be expected to use instructional methods appropriate for various levels of learning.  HHS employs an excellent team of teachers who work together to help make our students successful both in and out of the classroom.  Our new teacher will be joining a great team of teachers and our HHS family!  

Haskell CISD will have a modified school calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.  The fall semester will be a 5-day week schedule, and the spring semester is a 4-day week schedule.

Haskell CISD is in the application stage of the Teacher Incentive Allotment.

Haskell CISD pay scale extends to 30 years' experience.

Haskell CISD pays $500 above base for 5+ years of teaching experience.

Position Title: Full Time Bus Driver

Haskell CISD is now accepting applications for a full bus driver at Haskell High School. CDL is required. You will have to undergo a criminal background check through the Texas DPS. You may pick up an application at the Haskell CISD Administration Office at 605 N. Ave. E or go online at www.haskell.esc14.net or www.esc14.net. Applications will be accepted for the next 45 days.
