Substitute Positions at Haskell CISD

The daily rate for a substitute with a bachelor's degree is $80 per day.  The daily rate for a substitute without a degree is $70 per day.  When a teacher substitute has worked in the same position for 10 consecutive days, the pay is $110 per day.  The rate for all cafeteria and maintenance substitutes is $8.75 per hour. 

All substitute applicants must be fingerprinted prior to being employed, according to Texas state law.  In order to have this process started, please complete the substitute application below and submit it online or mail it to Haskell CISD, PO Box 937, Haskell, Texas 79521.   You will be contacted upon receipt of your application.

Haskell CISD is now accepting applications for a full time Maintenance/Grounds Keeper. You will have to undergo a criminal background check through the Texas DPS. All applicants must have knowledge of basic principles of maintenance duties. You may pick up an application at the Haskell CISD Administration Office at 605 N. Ave. E or go online at www.haskell.esc14.net or www.esc14.net. Applications will be accepted for two weeks. Haskell CISD is an equal opportunity employer.

Haskell CISD is accepting applications for our high school principal position.  

Our new principal will be leading a campus with exceptional teachers and staff who model excellence in instruction each day.  We are looking for a strong leader who loves working with students as much as we do, and who will remain dedicated to student learning and the high expectations of Haskell CISD.

Haskell CISD-Haskell Elementary is seeking an enthusiastic, creative elementary music teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to deliver a developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned music program for students PK–5. The teacher will foster musical growth, build musical literacy, and create an inclusive, joyful classroom environment.
