GT Nominations

HASKELL CISD conducts a program for students with above average potential in academic and creative-productive thinking skills areas in grades K-12.  This gifted education program is designed to challenge students to accelerate above and beyond the regular school curriculum.

Any adult wishing to refer a student believed to be an intellectually or creatively gifted learner is encouraged to come by any of the three offices:  Haskell High School Office, Haskell Jr. High Office or Haskell Elementary Office to pick up the necessary forms.  Offices are open from 7:45-3:50.  The students that are referred will go through a screening procedure that requires special testing.  At the time of referral, parents will be requested to grant permission for this test.

Referral period for HASKELL CISD is November 10-November 21.  During this time parents/teachers may pick up an application at any of the three campuses to nominate a student.  Fill out the paperwork and return it back to the campus office by Friday, November 21, 2025.

For any further assistance, contact Michelle Thane at 940-864-2602 ext. 105.
