It is great to be a Haskell Indian. The Haskell school system and the communities of Haskell, Weinert, and Rochester have a lot to be proud of. I believe that we have the best teachers and students in the Big Country. As Superintendent of Schools, I am very blessed to have a staff that is so dedicated to making positive changes in our students and teaching our future leaders. I believe we must be leaders for the students and children of our communities and be an example for their future. The most important part of my educational philosophy is that we must treat people the way we want to be treated.

As long as we deal with each other in this manner and promote goodwill, we will respect and be able to make a difference in the lives we touch each day.

Communication is a key component for our success, trust and respect. I believe the school system is the hub of the community and we must communicate and work with the city and county officials. My office door is always open and I will be there to listen and communicate with you when the need arises. I sincerely ask our parents, grandparents and community members and fellow Indians to support our students. Your support in fundraisers and attendance at school events is so important to our students. We have a great history of Academic UIL awards, Athletic success, Band awards and honors and Agricultural Science awards and Leadership Contests. Let's stay behind these staff leaders and students and continue our successful and winning ways.
